The vertical vegetable cutter is composed of a knife disc, a housing and a frame (as shown in the figure). At the top of the knife disc, there are 8 movable knives (4 large pointed knives and 4 small pointed knives) and 2 scraper plates. On the cylindrical surface, there are 8 fixed knives (small pointed knives). At the bottom, there are 4 discharge scraper plates. The housing consists of a feeding hopper, a cylinder and an outlet. There is an adjustable valve on the outlet to control the fineness of the finished product. During operation, the knife disc rotates at high speed. When fresh fodder or root vegetables enter the cylinder, they are cut by the large and small pointed knives at the top of the knife disc and then thrown in all directions. After being cut by the small pointed knives on the cylindrical surface, they are discharged from the outlet. This type of vegetable cutter has less juice leakage, high efficiency and good quality, and is suitable for cutting fresh and tender leafy vegetables. The power of the vertical vegetable cutter is 0.18 to 1.7 kilowatts, depending on the production rate.
